Biography:

Manik Batra is a talented production sound mixer and sound designer with over 15 years of experience in feature films, streaming media, documentaries, and commercials. Having studied from the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, he has a deep understanding of cinematic narrative using sound. My Name Is Khan (2010), ’83 (2021), An Action Hero (2022), and Chandu Champion (2024) are just a few of Manik’s many critically acclaimed films. He won the 2022 IIFA Award for Best Sound Mixing in appreciation of his exceptional performance on ’83. He is a reliable partner for filmmakers wishing to enhance their stories with sound because of his accuracy, inventiveness, and capacity to create realistic, immersive soundscapes. Manik likes to explore the outdoors, play table tennis, spend time with family, and experiment with the newest audio equipment when he’s not working.
