Mahath Raghavendra

Biography:

Mahath Raghavendra is a versatile Indian actor known for his contributions to Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema.

He gained recognition for his supporting roles in acclaimed films like “Mankatha” (2011) and “Jilla” (2014), as well as his lead performance in “Double XL” (2022). After completing his degree at Hindustan College of Arts and Science, Raghavendra embarked on his cinematic journey.

Initially appearing as a background artiste in films like “Vallavan” (2006) and “Kaalai” (2008), he eventually landed his breakthrough role in Venkat Prabhu’s “Mankatha” (2011).

His portrayal earned him the title of Best Male Debut Actor from the Edison Awards committee.

Raghavendra further showcased his talent in lead roles, notably in “Backbench Student” (2013) and “Bunny n Cherry” (2013).

He continued to diversify his portfolio with projects like “Jilla” (2014), “Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven” (2019), and “Cycle” (2021).

Currently, Raghavendra is actively involved in multiple Tamil film projects and enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his wife, actress Prachi Mishra, and their son Adiyaman Raghavendra.
