Indian athlete and stuntman Mafia Sasi, also known as Sasidharan, primarily performs in Malayalam films. For over a thousand films, he has done stunts in every South Indian language. He performed stunts in the movie Mafia, which became a super hit, and he subsequently adopted the name Mafia Sasi. He has acted in a few movies as well. In 2022, he bagged National Award for best stunt choreography along with Supreme Sundar and Rajasekhar for Ayyappanum Koshiyum in the 68th National Film Awards.
He was born in Chirakkal, Kannur, as Sasidharan Puthiyaveettil parents Balan and Saraswathi. He was educated at Kannur, Madras Christian College, and Chirakkal Raja’s School. He and Sreedevi are wed.
