Madhav Vaze was an Indian actor who lived from October 21, 1939, to May 7, 2025. He had a few stints in movies but mostly worked as an actor and director in theatre.
Vaze began working as a kid artist in the highly regarded movie Shyamchi Aai. Vaze appeared as a guest in the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots in 2009. Aamir Khan, the director, stated that he would like to collaborate with Vaze on the theatre project.
Vaze directed a Marathi translation of Hamlet in 2013 that included Kanak Datye and Neha Mahajan. The translation was done by Parshuram Deshpande.
Additionally, he taught English at Pune’s Nowrosjee Wadia College. He played Babuji in the Vodafone m-Pesa commercial in March 2015.
