British stunt driver and former racer Akshay Luciano Bacheta born April 26, 1990 participated in the FIA Formula Two Championship in 2011 and 2012.
Bacheta, who was born to Indian parents in Romford, started competitive kart racing at the age of 14. He won the T Cars championship in 2006 after making his debut in the Ginetta Junior Championship. In the 2010 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, he finished second to Kevin Korjus. From 2011 to 2012, he participated in FIA Formula Two, where he won the latter championship with MotorSport Vision. He won a race in the 2013 Auto GP Series after testing the FW33 with Williams. He retired from sportscar racing in 2016 after three seasons to pursue a career in stunt driving.
