Kozhikode Narayanan Nair

Biography:

Indian actor Kozhikode Narayanan Nair makes appearances in Malayalam films. He’s acted in almost 300 motion pictures. Prior to entering the Malayalam cinema business, he worked as a theater performer. Aabhijathyam (1970) was his debut film. He is best known for playing Valyamama in Valsalyam (1993).

Nair was born in the Kozhikode district’s Panthirankavu in 1940. He began his career in theater through extracurricular activities in elementary school. Later on, he joined Stage India, a professional theatrical group. He worked as a sylon printer to support his dramatic career. Later on, he rose to the position of manager at Hindustan Engineering and Marikkar Engineering.

He has appeared in 300 Malayalam films during the course of his 50-year acting career. Aabhijathyam was his debut film (1970). After that, he appeared in films such Oliyambukal, Bharatham, Aavanazhi, Sadhayam, ente sreekuttikku, Perumthachan, Utharayanam, Nirmalyam, Kochuthemmadi, and Mithunam.

He costarred alongside Mammootty in a notable role as Valyamama in the 1993 film Valsalyam. He started working as an artist in the Malayalam business after Valsalyam (1993). Nair is a devoted follower of Sathya Sai Baba and frequently travels to Puttaparthi. In Kozhikode, he resides.Nair and Saradha are wed. Suhas, a male, and Suchithra, a daughter, are the couple’s two children.
