Biography:

Kishori Shahane is a versatile Indian actress known for her work in Marathi and Hindi movies and television. She is also a classical and folk dancer. She gained fame for her roles in Marathi films like “Maherchi Sadi” and “Wajva Re Wajva.” In Hindi cinema, she showcased her talent in movies like “Pyaar Mein Twist” and “Red: The Dark Side.”

Her career took a significant turn when she married Hindi filmmaker Deepak Balraj Vij, who noticed her talent and cast her in films like “Hafta Bandh” and “Bomb Blast.” Shahane then transitioned to Hindi TV serials, where she gained popularity with shows like “Ghar Ek Mandir” and “Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin.”

Apart from acting, Shahane is also a skilled dancer, having performed classical and folk dances on stages in India and abroad. She has also ventured into filmmaking, producing and directing Marathi films like “Mohatyachi Renuka” and “Aika Dajiba.” One of her notable projects is “Malik Ek,” a Hindi film based on the life of Sai Baba.
