Biography:

Kiran Reddy Kondamadugula is a multi-talented figure in the Tollywood industry, excelling as a director, writer, and cinematographer. Despite his background in IT, Kiran has dedicated over a decade to filmmaking.

He boasts an impressive portfolio that includes several short films, a web series, and two commercials. His strength lies in crafting compelling screenplays, often opting for non-linear storytelling to convey his narratives.

Kiran embarked on his filmmaking journey in 2012, leaving a mark with exceptional short films like “Murdrum” and “Ala Oka Hero” in 2015. However, his true breakthrough came with his directorial debut, the independent gem “Gatham” in 2020. Upon its Amazon Prime Video release, “Gatham” swiftly gained popularity and became one of Telugu OTT’s top offerings.

His second feature film, “ID,” was recently acquired by a prominent Indian distribution company and premiered worldwide digitally in 2023.

Remarkably, even before its theatrical release, ‘ID’ has already secured an impressive tally of 37 awards, 31 official selections, 5 honorable mentions, and 4 nominations from various esteemed film festivals.
