Biography:

Kinnera’s original name is Chittajally Kanaka Durga Lakshmi Kumari. Kinnera is her screen name. Her mother tongue is Telugu. She knows Tamil and English languages as well. She stays at Manikonda, Hyderabad.

Kinnera is a famous film and TV actress. She has acted in 66 films in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages. She entered the film industry with the Telugu film Chettu Kinda Pleader in the year 1987. This film was directed by Ace director Vamsi and produce by Surya Ravindra Nandigam under the banner Siri Cine Chitra Productions. She has acted as heroine opposite Rajendra Prasad in this film. She mainly acted in Telugu films. Some of her prominent Telugu films include- Rowdy Inspector, Major Chandakanth, Akka Mogudu, Simha etc. She has acted in some Tamil films like Thatput Tanjavur and Pondati Pondati Da. She has acted in some Kannada films like Obberi Kinda obber and Indian.

Kinnera has bagged many awards like- 6 Nandi awards, Life Achievement Award, Ugadi Puarskaram, Kalabhinetri Vanisree Award and Savitri Smaraka Award. Kinnera has acted in many Telugu serials like Antarangalu, Kumkuma Rekha on ETV Telugu and Amma on Gemini TV.

Kinnera is a classical dancer too and has given more than 5000 dance shows. Her hobbies include singing, dancing and reading books.
