Storyteller Karan Sharma has a steadfast love for telling real, realistic tales. Karan is well-known for his dedication to realism, and his films exhibit a profound comprehension of societal complexities, human emotions, and cinematic honesty. As a passionate moviegoer, he thinks that storylines should be as compelling as they are realistic.

Karan, who is originally from Delhi, moved to Mumbai in 2005 to follow his dream of being a filmmaker. His fortitude, inventiveness, and partnerships with numerous well-known domestic and foreign filmmakers on a variety of ambitious projects have distinguished his path from the country’s capital to the center of India’s film industry. Karan’s short film “Black Holi” established his own voice in the worldwide independent film circuit and received widespread praise. It was also recognized as the Best Narrative Short Film.

The critically acclaimed Indian online series Maharani, which marked his directorial debut, struck a deep chord with viewers due to its gripping narrative and character-driven structure. His second directing endeavor, Shiddat 2, a Hindi feature film presently in post-production, came next.To further solidify his status as a visionary and versatile filmmaker, Karan most recently finished work on the Hindi feature picture Bhool Chuk Maaf, in which he functioned as both writer and director.
