Kanakapura Srinivas is an Indian film artist, who has worked predominantly in the Kannada movie industry.
Srinivas, often referred to as Kanakapura Srinivas, is an Indian film producer who focuses mostly on the creation of Kannada-language movies. One of India’s major film production companies, RS Productions, is owned by Kanakapura Srinivas. In Telugu with “Subbu,” starring Jr. NTR, and in Kannada with “Yuvaraja,” starring Shiv Rajkumar, Srinivas launched his filmmaking career in 2001.
More than 15 Kannada films were made by his production firm, including Danakayonu, Jessi, Bahaddhur, Topiwala, Mata, and numerous others. He has produced popular films like 2017’s “Bharjari,” which was directed by Chethan Kumar. RS Productions produced movies like “Baahubali: The Beginning” in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
R. Srinivas used to work in a silk reeling factory at a very young age and had his silk factory in the year 1977. He has a great interest in cinema, which led him towards the movie business.
