Kanaka is a former Indian actress who primarily acted in Malayalam and Tamil movies, with a small number of Telugu movies as well.
Her debut film Karakaatakkaaran (1989) is well-known. Devika, an actress, is the mother of Kanaka. She is also Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu’s great-granddaughter, the pioneer of Telugu film.
She made her acting debut as a heroine in the Tamil blockbuster film Karagatakaran, which ran for more than a year and was directed by Gangai Amaran.
Kanaka appeared in numerous Tamil films, such as Viralukketha Veekkam (1999), Samundi (1992), Periya Kudumbam (1995), Athisaya Piravi (1990), and Periya Veetu Pannakkaran (1990).
Alongside Mukesh, Mammootty, and Mohanlal, she has acted in a few Telugu and Malayalam films. Over the course of ten years, she has acted in over fifty Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films. The 2006 Tamil film Sillunu Oru Kaadhal was her last.
