Indian actor Kabali Vishwanth has acted in Tamil-language movies. He started off as an assistant choreographer and made a few brief supporting appearances until breaking through as an actor in Pa. Ranjith’s Kabali (2016).
Vishwanath made his acting debut in Veluthu Kattu (2010), directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar, as an anti-hero. After that, he played modest supporting parts in movies such as Dhoni (2012), Attakathi (2012), and Thadaiyara Thaakka (2012), where he played Prakash Raj’s neighbor and Arun Vijay’s friend. Later, he went on to work as Sridhar’s dance choreographer in movies.
After playing a part in Pa. Ranjith’s Kabali (2016), which had Rajinikanth in the lead role, Vishwanath achieved success as an actor.
He was given the credit of Vishwanth in the movie, and he continued to use that name in his following endeavors. Playing a thug from Chennai who was paid to keep Rajinikanth’s main character safe, the movie and his performance were highly praised. Due to the film’s high popularity, he was signed on by a number of producers for other projects. Most notably, he later co-starred in Vikram and Linguswamy’s Sandakozhi 2 (2018) as the spouse of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s character in Sketch (2018). In addition, he was involved in a Hindi-language movie and made his feature debut in the horror-comedy Onaaigal Jakkiradhai (2018). In Sketch, he played Vikram’s pal.
