K. Ravi Shankar, born Krishnamoorthy Ravi Shankar, stands as a prominent Indian film director renowned for his contributions to Bollywood during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The son of esteemed Bollywood producer A. Krishnamoorthy, Ravi Shankar has primarily directed films under his home banner, Tina Films International.

His directorial ventures include collaborations with emerging talents like Govinda in “Dariya Dil” (1988) and Shilpa Shetty in “Aag” (1994).

Beyond directing, he has also made significant contributions as a producer, with notable films such as “Swarag Se Sunder” (1986) and “Gharana” (1989) to his credit.
