American filmmaker, screenwriter, and executive producer Justin Tipping is well recognized for his work on Joe vs. Carole (2022), Kicks (2016), and Flatbush Misdemeanors (2021).
Tipping started his career as the director of Kicks in 2016. He agreed to co-write and direct a movie based on the Harbinger comics in November 2018. He directed episodes of Dear White People, The Chi, and Black Monday in 2019. He was in talks to direct Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, a movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that same year. He directed episodes of Twenties and Dare Me in 2020. He became well-known in 2021 as a director of Joe vs. Carole, Run the World, and Flatbush Misdemeanors episodes. Tipping co-wrote and directed Him, a 2025 sports horror movie for Monkeypaw Productions, directed by Jordan Peele.
