Julia Fox

Biography:

Julia Francesca Fox is an American actress, model, and media personality who was born on February 2, 1990. She was nominated for the 2019 Gotham Awards’ Breakthrough Actor Award for her breakthrough performance in the movie Uncut Gems.  She is also well-known for her internet persona and quirky fashion sense.

Fox published her first book, a memoir called Down The Drain, in October 2023. Since then, she has put out a single with the same name. In addition, she co-hosts the Forbidden Fruits Spotify podcast with Niki Takesh.

Fox was born in Milan to Gracie and Thomas Fox, an American contractor and an Italian mother When Julia and her two siblings were little, the marriage divorced. While her mother completed college, Julia was reared by her grandfather in Saronno, a tiny village outside of Milan, until she was six years old. Together with her mother’s family, they shared a one-bedroom apartment in a Catholic home . Fox’s father resided on a boat anchored off the coast of New York City during this period. Julia came to New York City to live with him in the Yorkville district of Manhattan when she was six years old.  but persisted in making frequent trips to Italy to see her mother.
