Actor John Macmillan, sometimes known as MacMillan, is from Britain. His career started in theatre, and his performances in Macbeth and Hamlet earned him a nomination for the Ian Charleson Award. For his role in the King Lear (2018) adaption on BBC Two, he received a nomination for a Satellite Award.
The BBC One drama Silk (2011–2014), the Channel 4 sitcom Chewing Gum (2015–2017), and the Channel 4 sitcoms Back (2017–2021) and Hang Ups (2018) are among his television credits.
