Johannes Roberts

Biography:

English filmmaker Johannes Christopher Edward Roberts was born on May 24, 1976. His most well-known work was directing horror movies. Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021), 47 Meters Down (2017), The Strangers: Prey at Night (2018), The Other Side of the Door (2016), and Primate (2025).

Johannes Roberts began his career by producing a number of low-budget horror movies, including Sanitarium (2001), Hellbreeder (2003), Darkhunters (2004), and Forest of the Damned (2005). In 2010, Roberts wrote and directed the slasher film F (2010), which was produced for just £100k. Studio Canal picked it up, and it was released in theaters throughout the United Kingdom.
