Joe Keery

Biography:

American actor and singer Joseph David Keery (born April 24, 1992) is better known in the music industry as Djo. In addition to his role as Steve Harrington in the science fiction series Stranger Things (2016–present), he has acted in the fifth season of the criminal comedy-drama series Fargo (2023–2024) and the comedy film Free Guy (2021).

Keery is a musician that performs with the psychedelic rock group Post Animal. He started a solo career after leaving the band, releasing the studio albums Decide (2022) and Twenty Twenty (2019) under the name Djo. “End of Beginning” became his first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 and a sleeper smash after going viral on TikTok in 2024. The Crux, Djo’s third album, came out on April 4, 2025. In 2025, Keery returned to Post Animal, and on July 25, 2025, the band released their album IRON.
