Jitendra Kumar, an Indian actor renowned for his versatility, has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. He is best known for his roles as Jitu in TVF Pitchers and Jeetu Bhaiya in Kota Factory. Kumar’s acting journey began while studying Civil Engineering at IIT Kharagpur. As the Governor of the Hindi Technology Dramatics Society, he performed in numerous stage plays and met Biswapati Sarkar, Executive Creative Director at The Viral Fever (TVF). Sarkar invited him to join TVF in 2012, kickstarting his career.
In 2013, Kumar starred in Munna Jazbaati: The Q-tiya Intern, which went viral with over 3 million views. He continued to gain popularity through TVF videos like Tech Conversations With Dad, A Day With, TVF Bachelors, and Kota Factory, showcasing his range as an actor.
Apart from TVF’s YouTube content, Kumar has taken on significant roles in comedy sketches, movies, and web series. He is celebrated for his portrayal of Jitendra Maheshwari in TVF Pitchers, Gittu in Permanent Roommates, and Jeetu Bhaiya in Kota Factory. His film debut was in Shuruat Ka Interval (2014).
Kumar’s lead role in Amazon Prime’s Panchayat, as Abhishek Tripathi, has been widely acclaimed. In 2020, he starred opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and played Billu in Chaman Bahaar. His recent works include the Netflix film “Jaadugar” and the Amazon Prime film “Dry Day”. He also reprised his roles as Abhishek in “Panchayat” season 3 and Jeetu Bhaiya in “Kota Factory” season 3.
