Actor and singer Jerome Patrick Flynn was born in England on March 16, 1963. His portrayal of Bronn in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones (2011–19) is what made him most famous. His other roles include Banner Creighton in the Paramount+ western series 1923 (2022–present), Hector in the Black Mirror episode Shut Up and Dance (2016), Bennet Drake in the BBC mystery series Ripper Street (2012–16), and Paddy Garvey of the King’s Fusiliers in the ITV series Soldier Soldier (1991–95).
In the later part of the 1990s, he and Robson Green, his co-star from Soldier Soldier, also played Robson & Jerome. Their version of “Unchained Melody” became the best-selling song of 1995 and sold over a million copies, spending seven weeks at the top of the UK Chart. “I Believe” and “What Becomes of the Brokenhearted” were two more number one hits for the duet. Both Take Two and their self-titled debut album peaked at number one on the UK Albums Chart.
