Jay Lycurgo

Biography:

English actor Jay Lycurgo was born on February 6, 1998. He is well-known on television for his parts in the Netflix shows The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself (2022) and the DC Universe series Titans (2021–2023). He received a British Independent Film Award for his role in the movie Steve. Lycurgo, the youngest of four children, was raised in Croydon. He has British, Sierra Leonean, and Jamaican ancestry. David Johnson, a former professional football player, is his father. Seeing plays at the nearby Fairfield Halls served as one of Lycurgo’s inspiration for acting. His teacher recommended acting school after he was rejected from the BRIT School. In 2019, he received a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from Arts Educational School (ArtsEd).
