Biography:
American director Jared Bush, who was born on June 12, 1974, has been Walt Disney Animation Studios’ chief creative officer since 2024.[1] Zootopia (2016), its sequel Zootopia 2 (2025), and Encanto (2021), the latter of which earned an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, are the animated films he co-wrote and co-directed. The screenplays for Moana (2016), its follow-up Moana 2 (2024), and its forthcoming live-action version in 2026 were also written by him. Additionally, from 2014 to 2017, he co-created and executive produced the Disney XD animated series Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero.
