Biography:

Jane Colburn Levy is an American actress who was born on December 29, 1989. She made her stage debut as the original Mandy Milkovich on the Showtime comedy-drama Shameless (2011) after enrolling in the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. After the first season of Shameless, Levy left the show to play the lead in the 2011–2014 ABC sitcom Suburgatory.

Moving on to film, Levy worked with filmmaker Fede Álvarez as the lead in the horror movies Don’t Breathe (2016) and Evil Dead (2013). In addition to starring in the Netflix thriller miniseries What/If (2019), she made a comeback to television with series regular roles on the Hulu comedy-drama There’s… Johnny! (2017) and horror fantasy Castle Rock (2018).Levy won a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy for her role as the titular character in the NBC musical comedy-drama Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist from 2020 to 2021.
