Jamie McShane is an American actor known for his compelling work in both television and film. He is best recognized for his roles as Cameron Hayes in Sons of Anarchy, Sergeant Terry Hill in Southland, and Eric O’Bannon in Bloodline—a performance that earned him the Maltese Falcon Award at the 2016 Humphrey Bogart Film Festival. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, McShane appeared as Agent Jackson in Thor (2011) and The Avengers (2012).
Born and raised in Northern New Jersey alongside four siblings, McShane earned a BA in English from the University of Richmond in 1988. His television credits include recurring and guest roles in series such as 24, House, Fear the Walking Dead, The Fosters, and Stalker. More recently, he played Detective Lankford in Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer (2022) and Sheriff Galpin in the hit series Wednesday.
