James Vasanthan

Biography:

James Vasanthan is a filmmaker, motivational speaker, composer of motion picture soundtracks, and host of Indian Television (Tamil). Before making his film industry debut in 2008 as a composer of film music and as a director in 2015, he spent more than 20 years working as an anchor for well-known Tamil satellite television stations, such as Sun TV and Vijay TV.

Born in Tiruchirapalli (Trichy), Tamil Nadu, India, James Vasanthan was the son of Brownie Sophia and George Theophilus, a police officer who passed away from cancer while serving his country. James was only twelve at the time. His mother used to tell him that her father Antony, an engineer for the Anamalai Hills ropeway services in Pollachi, had built.

She was well-known for being strict and meticulous, and she was an expert at all household chores. She is the source of all the skills and abilities James possesses today. His life took a drastic change when he lost her at the age of twenty-one.

Although his goal was to pursue a science degree, he studied at YWCA Primary School (now known as BHEL Matriculation Higher Secondary School) and Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School (Teppakulam) before graduating from Bishop Heber College, Trichy, with a degree in English literature. She was a single mother, and the hefty cost of a science education was beyond her means.
