Ishani Banerjee

Biography:

The most well-known work by author Ishani Banerjee is the film Aligarh. She completed her education at Jamshedpur Public School before attending Delhi’s Indraprastha College for Women to earn her English honors degree. She graduated from IIMC in Delhi with a degree in public relations and advertising.

Ishani made his writing debut with the film Aligarh, which tells the tale of Aligarh Muslim University’s homosexual professor Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras. For engaging in consenting sexual relations with a rickshaw puller, he received a suspension. A few days after winning the lawsuit in the High Court in 2010, he was discovered dead at his home. Additionally, Ishani has scripted TV shows such as School of Lies (2023) and Human (2022).
