Isha Chawla

Biography:

Isha Chawla was born in Delhi On March 6, 1988. After earning her degree in political science, she joined a Mumbai theater company in order to pursue an acting career.She later made her appearance in Telugu movies. Under K. Vijaya Bhaskar’s direction, Chawla made her film debut in Prema Kavali, opposite debutant Aadi.

She later starred opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in Poola Rangadu and Srimannarayana. She played the lead role in Tanu Weds Manu (2011)’s remake, Mr. Pellikoduku, in 2013.Prior to making her Kannada film debut with Darshan in Viraat (2016), she featured in Jump Jilani (2014). She had also contributed to the film Rambha Urvasi Menaka, directed by M. S. Raju and starring Nikesha Patel and Trisha, but it was eventually shelved.
