Ibrahim Ali Khan

Biography:

Indian actor Ibrahim Ali Khan Pataudi was born on March 5, 2001, and performs in Hindi movies. His first acting role as a child was playing the younger version of his father’s character in Tashan (2008). He was born to actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. In the critically acclaimed Netflix romantic comedy Nadaaniyan (2025), he landed his first major role as an adult.

Khan is the grandson of Rukhsana Sultana, Sharmila Tagore, and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. In addition, he is the nephew of Soha Ali Khan and Saba Ali Khan, the great-great-grandson of Sultan Jahan Begum, Gaganendranath Tagore, and Gunabhiram Barua, and the great-great-grandson of Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi and Sajida Sultan. He has two half-brothers from his father’s second marriage to Kareena Kapoor Khan, as well as an older sister, Sara, who is also an actor.

Khan finished his education at Mumbai’s Dhirubhai Ambani International School and the New York Film Academy’s filmmaking program. After playing the younger version of his father’s character in Tashan (2008) at the age of seven, Khan showed a strong interest in acting from an early age. His father remembers that after the movie’s critical and commercial failure, he was upset. Later in 2023, Khan assisted Karan Johar with his film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023), in which Sara made a cameo.
