Hrishitaa Bhatt, also spelled as Hrishita Bhat, is a versatile Indian actress and model. Making her debut in the film “Asoka” (2001) opposite Shah Rukh Khan, it was the movie “Haasil” (2003) that catapulted her to fame, earning her critical acclaim. This success paved the way for her appearances in noteworthy films like “Ab Tak Chhappan” (2004) and “Jigyaasa” (2006). Bhatt, born in Mumbai, is an alumna of Trinity College London and received Jazz lessons from choreographer Shiamak Davar.
Apart from her film career, Hrishitaa Bhatt has been associated with iconic projects, such as featuring in the Liril advertisement campaign in 1999 and appearing in music videos like “Aankhon Me Tera Hi Chehra” by Aryans band with Shahid Kapoor and “Dil- Kisi Pe Jab Aa Jaye” by Sonali Vajpayee. She married Anand Tiwari, a senior diplomat with the United Nations, in a private ceremony in Delhi on March 4, 2017.
Hrishitaa Bhatt’s cinematic journey includes diverse roles, such as playing Devi in the historical drama “Asoka” (2001) and portraying Jojo in the multi-starrer “Dil Vil Pyar Vyar” (2002). From 2003 to 2009, she appeared in around twenty-five films across different languages, with notable performances in “Haasil” (2003) and “Ab Tak Chhappan” (2004).
In 2011, she ventured into film production with the comic drama “Shakal Pe Mat Ja.” The years that followed saw her involvement in regional films like the 2010 Marathi film “Mani Mangalsutra” and the popular Bengali movie “Mrs. Sen” (2013).
