Indian cinematographer H. C. Venugopal has experience in both the Tamil and Kannada film industries. Cinematographer H. C. Venugopal has primarily worked on Kannada films. Since the late 1990s, he has been involved in several high-profile Kannada films, such as A (1998), Sparsha (1999), H2O (2002), Aa Dinagalu (2007), and Jaggu Dada (2016).
Additionally, he participated in the filming of Katari Veera Surasundarangi (2012), the first Kannada 3D movie.He has recently worked with Arjun Sarja on the multilingual movies Prema Baraha (2018) and Jaihind 2 (2014). In 2005, Venugopal wed Tara, an actress and politician. Together, they have a son called Shreekrishna (born in 2013).
