Based in Los Angeles, George Kallis is a Cypriot composer for films and television shows. Growing up on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, Kallis studied classical violin and piano while also being exposed to heavy metal, jazz, and world music. After winning multiple music contests by the time he was eighteen, Kallis received a scholarship to Boston’s Berklee College of Music, where he earned a Bachelor of Music with a major in Composition and Film Scoring. He soon received acceptance to the Royal College of Music in London, where he studied under the renowned British composer Joseph Horowitz and earned a Master of Music in Composition.
