Gayathri Reddy, a former Indian actress and model, made her acting debut in the movie Bigil (2019), where she portrayed Maari, a female soccer player. Despite having no prior football experience, she underwent a forty-five day bootcamp to enhance her skills. She initially found it challenging to work alongside Vijay sir, especially in scenes where she had to establish eye contact due to underlying tensions.
Gayathri also had a role in the Tamil film Lift. However, in 2022, she announced her retirement from the entertainment industry via her YouTube channel after marrying a businessman through an arranged marriage. Following her marriage, she permanently moved to Perth, Western Australia.
