Gautam Gulati

Biography:

Indian actor Gautam Gulati was born on November 27, 1987, and is best known for his work in the television series Diya Aur Baati Hum, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, and Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna. His participation in the reality show Bigg Boss 8 in 2014 led to his victory. He starred as Devadutta in Siddhartha-The Buddha and in Rakesh Mehta’s short film Darpok, which showed at the 67th Cannes Film Festival.

In the biography Azhar, directed by Mohammad Azharuddin, he portrayed Indian cricket player Ravi Shastri. His next venture was the role of Rahul in Behen Hogi Teri. He played a RAW Agent in the 2019 web series Operation Cobra on Eros Now.

Gulati began his TV career by trying out for MTV Roadies 5, however he was turned down. In the 2008 television series Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki, Gulati made his acting debut as Duryodhana. Later, he portrayed Varun, played by Ekta Kapoor, in a supporting role in Zee TV’s Kasamh Se. He portrayed Tejj in the Star Plus series Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna later that year.

He was chosen to play Shaurya Khanna, a gay character, in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani on Star One in 2010. He portrayed Vikram Rathi in Star Plus’s longest-running series, Diya Aur Baati Hum, from 2011 to 2014. He took part in the eighth season of the reality show Bigg Boss in September 2014 as a celebrity participant. It took him 19 weeks to make it out alive and come out on top. Gulati hosted the MTV Big F show in 2015. Later, in April 2016, he made his Bollywood debut in the movie Azhar.
