An Indian actress, comedian, and YouTuber named Milkuri Gangavva. Before she rose to fame on YouTube, she was a farm laborer. Gangavva is renowned for her Telugu diction in the Telangana dialect. She competed as one of the 19 contestants on Bigg Boss 4 in Telugu in 2020.
Gangavva is a native of the Telangana state’s Jagitial district’s Lambadipally village. Her birthdate has never been documented. Gangavva didn’t complete her first grade, hence she never acquired a formal education. When she was five, she was married off. Gangavva had four children in total—three daughters and a son, one of whom passed away.
Before starting on YouTube in 2016, Gangavva used to roll cigarettes and work in agricultural fields. Her son-in-law Srikanth Sriram approached her about appearing in his Telangana-focused channel My Village Show, which focuses on village culture and rural life. She first made guest appearances before transitioning to full-time acting in 2017. Gangavva received widespread acclaim for her humorous appearances in the show.
The Telugu community loved Gangavva’s distinctive use of the vernacular of Telangana. With the release of Mallesham in 2019, Gangavva made her Telugu film debut. Later that year, she also had an appearance in iSmart Shankar.
In 2020, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Gangavva received Women Achiever Award from Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor of Telangana
