American actor Gabriel Swann Macht was born on January 22, 1972. He is most known for playing Harvey Spectre in the 2011–2019 season of Suits on the USA Network.
Macht was born in New York City’s Bronx. He is the son of actor Stephen Macht and museum director and archivist Suzanne Victoria Pulier. His siblings are Julie, Ari Serbin, and Jesse, a musician who performed on The Next Great American Band. His family is Jewish. From the age of five, Macht was brought up in California.
He went to Carnegie Mellon College of Fine Arts after graduating from Beverly Hills High School, where he earned his degree in 1994. He joined the Delta Upsilon fraternity while attending Carnegie Mellon.
