G. N. Anbu Chezhiyan

Biography:

G. N. Anbu Chezhiyan born on April 7, 1964, G. N. Anbu Cheliyan works as a producer and financier in the Tamil cinema industry. He oversees Gopuram Films, a production company, as managing director.

Anbucheziyan was born in 1964. His father, Neelamegam, was a former headmaster who worked out of Kamuthi, Ramanathapuram. Early in the 1990s, Anbucheziyan relocated to Madurai and began lending small amounts of money at interest to roadside stands and street sellers. Due to the industry’s need and room for expansion, he proceeded to provide loans to local movie distributors once his business did well. He began making medium-budget films through his company Gopuram Films and also took up the distribution of other films. In addition, he assisted other aspiring producers and directors in realizing their visions for large-scale motion pictures.

He began his theatrical career in 2020 when he opened Gopuram Cinemas, a multiplex in Madurai.
