American actress and author Ellen Adair was born in 1988. She is most recognized for her roles as Bess McTeer in season two of the USA anthology series The Sinner and Janet Bayne in season seven of the Showtime series Homeland. They have acted in several horror movies, such as Herd (2023), Trick (2019), and Cryptid (2022). Adair’s performance as Jamie Miler was named one of Awards Radar’s “Best Horror Performances of 2023” for the subsequent movie. Adair is a seasoned stage actor who has performed in several shows with Shakespeare Theatre Company, American Shakespeare Center, and Commonwealth Shakespeare Company in addition to the cult favorite Sleep No More at The McKittrick Hotel.
