Elisabeth P. Carpenter

Biography:

Based in Los Angeles, California, Elisabeth Carpenter works as a professional stuntwoman. Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Insurgent, Fear the Walking Dead, The Wrong Missy, Wonder Woman, The Polar Express, and numerous other films and television shows are among her credits. Her areas of expertise are wire work and high work, but she also enjoys learning new things like acting, singing, dancing, scuba diving, and motorbike riding.

She grew up as a competitive gymnast and all-around athlete, playing every sport she could, climbing trees, swinging and jumping off anything she could find, and generally burning off unlimited energy while growing up in a big family in Vermont. At an early age, she also began singing professionally, performing with her family, in local groups, recording, and going on a lot of tours with Village Harmony. Elisabeth began performing with Circus Smirkus at the age of 13, and she relocated to Los Angeles at the age of 19 to pursue that as a career. Her unique childhood and global travels prepared her for the thrilling but frequently demanding lifestyle of a stunt performer, and her 15 years of experience as a circus aerialist, acrobat, and generalist helped build a solid basis for her stunt work.

She may be seen writing and performing music with her husband, Scotty, as part of their power combo Cake Without Candles, when she’s not jumping off buildings or facing off against baddies on screen. She still enjoys traveling, taking pictures, writing, drawing, doing outdoor activities, and meeting new and fascinating people from different backgrounds.
