Divya Khosla Kumar, also known as Divyah, is an Indian actress, producer, and director primarily working in Hindi cinema. She has made significant contributions to the industry, directing advertisements, music videos, and feature films. Divya is married to Bhushan Kumar, the chairman and managing director of T-Series, a prominent music label and film production company.
In her personal life, Divya tied the knot with Bhushan Kumar on February 13, 2005, at the Maa Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. They are blessed with a son born in October 2011.
Divya began her acting career with the 2004 Telugu film “Love Today” opposite Uday Kiran. She also appeared in the popular pop song ‘Aiyyo Rama’ by Falguni Pathak. Her Bollywood debut came the same year with “Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo,” where she portrayed Shweta alongside Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol.
After a hiatus from acting, Divya focused on directing, completing courses in cinematography and editing. She directed numerous music videos and advertisements before making her directorial debut with “Yaariyan” in 2014, followed by “Sanam Re” in 2016. Despite mixed reviews, both films achieved success at the box office. Divya has also co-produced several films with T-Series.
Divya returned to acting in 2017 with the short film “Bulbul” and appeared in “Satyameva Jayate 2” opposite John Abraham in 2021. She played a prominent role in “Yaariyan 2,” a remake of the 2014 Malayalam film “Bangalore Days” and a standalone sequel to her film “Yaariyan.”
