Dhairya Karwa

Biography:

Dhairya Karwa, an Indian actor who performs in Hindi films, was born on November 19, 1990. He played Ravi Shastri in 83 (2021) and an aspiring writer in Gehraiyaan (2022) after making his acting debut in Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019). Karwa has since starred in Gyaarah Gyaarah (2024), a thriller series.

Karwa debuted as an actor in Uri: The Surgical Strike in 2019.  He played Sartaj Singh Chandhok, the captain. The movie made ₹359.73 crore at the box office, making it a success. He made his online debut in the same year, as Samar Ranawat in Made in Heaven.

His next appearance was in Amritsar Junction, a short film released in 2020. In the movie, which was based on the communal riots that occurred during India’s Partition in 1947, he played a rioter. He played cricket player Ravi Shastri in Kabir Khan’s sports movie 83 in 2021.  The movie only made ₹193.73 crore at the Indian box office, despite the favorable reviews. Reviews of Karwa’s performance were largely good.

His subsequent appearance was in the 2020 short film Amritsar Junction. He portrayed a rioter in the film, which was based on the communal riots that took place during India’s 1947 Partition.
