Devdatta Nage

Biography:

Devdatta Nage, born on February 5, 1981, is an accomplished Indian actor known for his notable roles as Lord Khandoba in “Jai Malhar” and Bajrang in “Adipurush,” which brought him widespread recognition.

Hailing from Alibag in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India, Nage currently resides in Mumbai. He is happily married to Kanchan Nage. His television journey commenced with the Colors TV series “Veer Shivaji,” where he portrayed the character of Tanaji Malusare. He also made appearances in Colors TV’s “Laagi Tujhse Lagan.”

Notably, Nage gained prominence through his role as Samratrao Vikhe Patil in Star Pravah’s popular series “Devyani.” However, he is most celebrated for his portrayal of Lord Khandoba in Zee Marathi’s hit series “Jai Malhar.” He has also showcased his talent in other Marathi serials such as “Mrutyunjay Karnachi Amargatha,” “Kalay Tasmay Namah,” and “Bajirao Mastani.” Additionally, he has made a mark in the world of commercial theater with his performance in “Ek Mau Char Bhau.”

Nage ventured into the Marathi film industry in 2014 with the movie “Sangharsh” and made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with “Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara.” He further expanded his Bollywood presence with “Satyameva Jayate” in 2018. In 2020, he delivered a notable performance in the Bollywood film “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior,” where he portrayed Suryaji Malusare.

After a two-year hiatus, Nage made a comeback to the small screen with the serial “Dr. Don,” which airs on Zee Yuva channel. His most recent achievement in 2023 includes a prominent role as Lord Hanuman in Om Raut’s film “Adipurush.”
