South Indian film editor Deepu S. Kumar is employed in the Kannada film business. He has collaborated on films including Jackie, Bahaddur, Vajrakaya, and many more with Kannada filmmakers like Duniya Soori, Harsha, Yograj Bhat, and many others. On August 19, 2007, Deepu wed Sudha Deepu, with whom he had two children.
Bangalore is where they call home. Yograj Bhat wrote and directed the film “Mungaru Male,” which marked Deepu’s feature debut as an editor. The movie debuted on December 29, 2006. In 2016, he also participated in Bhat’s “Dana Kayonu.” Deepu was the assistant to filmmaker Duniya Soori on the movie “Duniya.” On February 23, 2007, the film was released and went on to win three prizes.

June 3, 2011, was the release date of the film. In 2012, Deepu also contributed to Gubbi’s “Jaanu.” “Chingari,” which Harsha wrote and directed, was edited by Deepu. The movie debuted on February 3, 2012. In 2015, he was also involved in Harsha’s “Vajrakaya,” which received two award nominations.
For his film “Addhuri,” director and writer A. P. Arjun collaborated with Deepu. Released on June 15, 2012, the film received five nominations for the 2013 Filmfare Awards.
In addition, Deepu edited Arjun’s “Rhaatee” in 2015. Currently, she is assisting Imran Sardhariya on his next film, “Uppu Huli Khara.” Deepu was the editor of Chethan Kumar’s first feature film as a writer and director, “Bahaddur.”
After opening on theaters on October 3, 2014, the movie was shortlisted for six 2015 South Indian International Movie Awards. Imran Sardhariya, the writer and director of the film “Endendigu,” was Deepu’s mentor. The movie debuted on May 1st, 2015, and received one nomination for a South Indian International Movie Award that year.
Additionally, Imran’s film “Uppu Huli Khara,” which is scheduled for release on April 14, 2017, is being edited by Deepu. A number of other films that Deepu edited include “Gulama” (2009), “Hudugara” (2011), “Whistle” (2013), “Goa” (2015), “RX Suri” (2015), “Srikanta” (2017), “Hebbuli” (2017), and “Happy New Year” (2017). Additionally, in 2009, he edited the short film “Naalu Mazhapaatakal.” The most recent undertaking of Deepu is “Bangara S/O Bangadha Manushya.”
