David Wurawa

Biography:

David Wurawa is a highly acclaimed actor with a broad and international repertoire spanning across Film, Television, Radio, and Theatre.

He took on a leading role and served as a co-producer in “NEW ORDER,” a science fiction feature film featuring the iconic Franco Nero.

In 2011, he earned a nomination for Best Actor at the Munich Film Festival for his outstanding performance in “FRANKFURT COINCIDENCES,” a film that also won the Audience Award at the Munich Film Festival that year.

Wurawa’s credits include starring roles in numerous acclaimed productions such as “AUSSTIEG RECHTS,” where he also held an executive producer credit, amassing over 4 million views on YouTube. Additionally, he has appeared in “VOID,” “LA PASADA,” the pilot episode of the television series “WIENERLAND,” the crime series “LOTTE JAEGER,” “SOKO STUTTGART” (Hakuna Matata) in Germany, “TATORT” (Virus) in Austria, “CHOOSE YOUR OWN JOURNEY,” “JACK STRONG,” the award-winning web-series “2020” in Poland, and the popular TV series “BRAUNSCHLAG.”

Among his film credits are “GOLIATH 96,” where he starred alongside Katja Riemann, as well as “REFUGE,” “FIRST WORLD SOLUTIONS,” “THE FIELD OF MIRACLES,” and “XGEN ENTERPRISE 2.”

“GARTEN AFRIKA/ USGRÄCHNET GÄHWILERS” (MEET THE GAEHWILERS) premiered in January 2017 at the 52nd Solothurner Filmtage (52.Solothurner Film Festival) in Switzerland, earning a nomination for the PRIX DU PUBLIC and winning the ZURICH FILM AWARD for Best Film in 2017.
