Biography:

Actor and director David John Franco was born in the United States on June 12, 1985. Small parts in films like Charlie St. Cloud (2010) and Superbad (2007) marked the beginning of his career. Franco’s breakthrough performance came in the buddy comedy 21 Jump Street (2012), after he starred in the last season of the comedy series Scrubs (2009–2010).

Additionally, Franco has starred in the films Nerve (2016), The Disaster Artist (2017), Neighbours (2014) and its sequel Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising (2016), Now You See Me (2013) and its sequel Now You See Me 2 (2016), Fright Night (2011), and Day Shift (2022). With The Rental, which starred his wife Alison Brie, he made his directorial debut in 2020.
