Dasarathi Shivendra, a Telugu actor with expertise as a director of photography, has been predominantly active in the South Indian film industry. Commencing his journey in 2011, he marked his debut as a director of photography in the film Solo, directed by Parasuram and featuring Nara Rohith and Prakash Raj. Subsequently, in 2012, he contributed to the comedy film Nuvva Nena, directed by Narayana.
In 2014, Dasarathi worked on Jump Jilani and Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, receiving appreciation for his efforts despite the films not achieving significant success at the box office. His role as a cinematographer in Intlo Dayyam Nakemi Bhayam was notable in the 2016 release.
In 2018, he ventured into the crime-thriller genre with Bluff Master, directed by Gopi Ganesh and written by Pulagam Chinnarayana, featuring Nandita Shwetha and Mahesh Achanta. The same year saw his involvement in Ayushman Bhava, directed by Charan Tej and written by Trinadha Rao Nakkina.
His recent works include the crime-thriller Kalki and musical collaborations with Sid Sriram and Sunitha for “Neeli Neeli Aakasam,” as well as the film “30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela?”
