Camila Mendes

Biography:

Mendes was born to Brazilian parents in Charlottesville, Virginia, on June 29, 1994. Her mother works as a flight attendant, and her father is a business executive. Her sibling is older than she is. The family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, then back to Virginia, and finally Orlando, Florida, shortly after she was born. Growing up, Mendes resided mostly in Florida but relocated 16 times due to her father’s job and eventually her parents’ divorce. She spent a year in Brazil when she was ten years old. Mendes graduated in 2012 from the American Heritage School’s Fine Arts department in Plantation, Florida. Mendes received his degree from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in May 2016.
