Actor Caleb Reginald McLaughlin was born in the United States on October 13, 2001. His portrayal of Lucas Sinclair in the Netflix series Stranger Things (2016–present) brought him widespread acclaim. After playing a young Simba in the Broadway production of The Lion King, he went on to perform minor parts on television. He starred in the drama flicks High Flying Bird (2019) and Concrete Cowboy (2020), the latter of which was his first leading part in a feature film, following his breakthrough in Stranger Things. In addition, he voiced various television shows and appeared in the 2017 miniseries The New Edition Story.
