C. R. Saraswathi, an acclaimed Indian actress and politician primarily recognized for her contributions to Tamil cinema, has seamlessly navigated between the worlds of entertainment and politics. Her transition into the political arena occurred in 1999 when she joined the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).
