Biography:

In Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Bjorn was born. His mother works as a social worker, and his father teaches literature. He earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Loyola College after completing his high school education at A. M. M. Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Following this, he studied music production in Dubai. After returning to Chennai, he pursued his musical career while earning a master’s degree in business administration. Self-taught, Bjorn began creating songs at the age of fifteen after learning to play the guitar and piano at the age of eleven. He founded two alternative bands during his college years, Franks Got The Funk and Circuit, both of which are highly recognized in the music industry and on the college circuit.[6]Bjorn Surrao is an Indian artist, singer-songwriter, actor, and music producer. His voice in the song “Master the Blaster” from the Tamil movie Master (2021) brought him initial popularity. With over 32 million views on YouTube, the song went on to rank #1 on iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify. “Franks Got the Funk” is the name of Bjorn’s independent music group. Following “Master the Blaster,” Bjorn collaborated with Arivu and Jigarthanda Music on “Yenna Sonna,” the Chennai Super Kings Anthem, for Think Music. Following his supporting comic part in Doctor (2021), his performance received a lot of notice.
